    We are a former American Optical laboratory that opened in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1924. In 1984 eight employees purchased the lab and Allentown Optical formed. Our president from 1984 to 2000 was Michael Gassler, who retired after sixty-four years. Our president since 2000 is Craig Walck.
Joe Felker, VP, worked in the optical busines since 1980, has completed training as a computer and electronic technician and obtained an associates degree in computer science.

All prescriptions, whether plastic, hi-index, polycarbonate, or glass are fabricated to exact specifications and to your satisfaction. No prescription is too difficult, be it a high minus, slab off, or prism. Whatever your patient needs, we can provide it.
